Created, written and performed by JEREMY GOLDSTEIN with HENRY WOOLF
Digital theatre adaptation and directed by JEN HEYES
Bunjil Place devised and directed by JEREMY GOLDSTEIN in collaboration with JEN HEYES.
Truth to Power Café is a unique theatrical experience reflecting on loss, hope and resistance. This internationally acclaimed live and digital performance event is told through memoir, poetry, image, music and film. It is a unique live and online performance which brings everyday people to the stage to answer the question “Who has power over you and what do you want to say to them?” Inspired by the political and philosophical beliefs of Nobel prize-winning playwright Harold Pinter and his Hackney Gang, Goldstein invites participants of all ages, beliefs and backgrounds to take part and respond to the question before live and online audiences in a profoundly moving and cathartic group experience.
Jeremy Goldstein’s Truth to Power Café, developed and directed by Jen Heyes, resumes the Australian leg of its world tour. The Australian tour will culminate with Jen Heyes’ digital theatre adaptation. Shot live on location at London’s Conway Hall and at Bunjil Place in Narre Warren, this 50 min digital theatre work will be available for free and on-demand from Bunjil Place as part of Melbourne Fringe Arts Festival from 2-31 October
